Cristiano Ronaldo was welcomed to Toronto with opens arms.  Fans waited for the plane to arrive at the Airport complete with signs and RM shirts.

Ronaldo Did notlet down the audience.  He scored Real Madrid’s second goal of the night in yesterday’s friendly versus Toronto FC.

During his time in Toronto, Cristiano Ronaldo took the time to sign autographs for fans as well as fulfilling the dream of a young leukemia survivor.

As for t he game, Real Madrid beat Toronto FC by a score of five to one.  It could have been a lot worse for the team in red.  Los Blancos had other fantastic scoring opportunities which failed to come to fruition.

Ronaldo was substituted at the 62th minute of the game and walked off the field to a standing ovation from the crowd.

The goal came by ways of a penalty shot, when Liga defender upended Ronaldo in the penalty box.  Five minutes after Ronaldo netted his first goal, he set up the second when his shot was mishandled by Quito’s goalkeeper into the feet of another Real Madrid player.

The game had some disagreement when Quito’s coach ran onto the pitch in object of the awarded penalty to Ronaldo.  The penalty was clearly justified however, and the coach was sent off by the ref.

The game ended in victory for Real Madrid with a score of 4-2.  Real Madrid face Juventus on Friday’s semi-final game of the Peace Cup.  The game will be played in Seville Spain.

As expected, Cristiano Ronaldo has taken the number 9 jersey, and has stated that he’s very privileged to wear the same number as Di Stefano.

Cristiano put on the Real Madrid uniform for the first time and walked the pitch while clapping his hands. He also kissed the logo on his jersey several times as a display of his love to be part of the Real Madrid team, which has always been a boyhood dream of his.

Cristiano Ronaldo thanked all Manchester United supporters as well as it’s ownership and friends which he had made along the way, but also added that he believed that United supporters understood his decision to leave for Spain.

Cristiano Ronaldo also stipulated that he is going to try and show that Real Madrid paid a fair price for him.

Being the joyful personality that Cristiano Ronaldo is, he’d a bit of a laugh when asked if he expectedsuperior protection from the referees in Spain than he received in the Premier League. Cristiano laughed and said that the Premier League has very nice referees, but La Liga has unbelievable referees. The diplomatic answer is clear in every way.

CNN has reported in the last couple of hours that  Cristiano Ronaldo’s future may be at Old Trafford.

Cristiano Ronaldo recently allowed an interview to a Spanish radio station called Atena 3. Cristiano Ronaldo stated during the interview that he is focussing on next week’s Champions League final versus Spanish rivals, Barcelona.

“It will bevery hard to do it again, because Barcelona have a good team, great players and a great coach,” he said

“The two teams are very good, they play very well and they’ve dream squads.”

“It’s a battle of teams,” he said.

“Without my team I won’t win and neither will Messi without his team-mates.

“It’s clear that we’re the two best teams in Europe. It will be the match every fan dreamed about.”

He also stated that he doesn’t care what happens at Real Madrid next year, and that he is only interested in what happens at Manchester United next year.

“At the moment I am only thinking about the Champions League final independently of what will happen to me or my team-mates next season,” he said.

“I am sure Perez would create an extraordinary team at Madrid but at the moment I am at United and I do not care about what happens there.

“I only care about what will happen next season at Manchester United.”

We will not know for sure where the World’s best player be next year, not until the transfer window closes, but this news report will undoubtely make Man. United fans very happy for the time being.

Looks like the highly popular social networking website have removed Cristiano Ronaldo’s public profile.

According to Facebook, the Cristiano Ronaldo public profile which had an amazing 2.9 million fans, a statistic that’s second only to new United States president, Barrack Obama, was removed because the profile violates their Terms Of Service.  The problem is that the Cristiano Ronaldo profile on facebook was not run by Cristiano Ronaldo or any of his official representatives.  The profile was overseen by a huge soccer fan from Pakistan, named Kunwar Ali.  Ali had tacit approval from Cristiano Ronaldo’s agency.

Many Cristiano Ronaldo fans have labeled the move by Facebook to be overkill.  They claim that the website should have done more and try to  facilitate a joint administration agreement like the one they did for the most popular Facebook Coca-Cola profile which was created not by the soft drink company, but by fans.
